Leading the way for modern sports
cars is the 2017 Nissan GT-R. This car doesn’t really lack in any area by
offering loads of power. Better yet, it has an aggressive stance, and lets you
work with many modern features that give you a unique experience with each
drive.
Many parts and features of the
2017 Nissan GT-R were uniquely constructed, which ensures quality and improves
metrics in many ways. That top-of-the-line craftsmanship can be clearly seen
with the crankshaft which is extra durable because of its ladder frame
structure. In addition, the oil pan comes with a magnesium design, a material
that makes it significantly lighter and more durable. In order to help you
achieve more horsepower, Nissan also put a turbocharger and intercooler inside
this monster of a supercar.
A lot of time was put into
designing the body. It is incredibly aerodynamic with a coefficient drag of
.26. This means that you get consistent downforce for an experience of epic
proportions.
Handling and Performance
Because the new GT-R packs a
punch in terms of power offered, Nissan developed many systems and features to
help you maintain control. Vehicle Dynamic Control lets you handle
less-than-ideal conditions, while the all-wheel drive further improves you
control, giving the rear wheels 100% torque and 50% torque to the front wheels.
Speaking of wheels, the GT-R offers rigid forged aluminum 20-inch wheels, which
utilize knurling on the inside. This prevents the tires from slipping around
the wheels, no matter how fast you drive.
